Green business guru, Joel Makeower, to speak to the Net Impact Professional Chapter

November 5th, 6:30 pm

Joel will be joining us for an insightful presentation on the green economy, take questions from the audience, and stick around afterwards to sign his new book, "Strategies for a Green Economy." His words and message are especially important for those of us in New York, where the finance industry is faltering but opportunities in CSR, sustainability, and green buildings remain strong.

For more than 20 years, Joel has been a well-respected voice on business, the environment, and the bottom line. As a writer, speaker, and strategist on corporate environmental practices, clean technology, and green marketing, he has helped a wide range of companies improve their environmental strategy and communications -- including ClifBar, Gap, Hewlett Packard, Levi Strauss, Nike, Procter & Gamble, and Stonyfield Farm. He serves as a senior strategist at GreenOrder, a sustainability consultancy firm in NY, and is a co-founder and principal of Clean Edge Inc., a research and publishing firm focusing on building markets for clean energy technologies.

Pre-Registration: $12 (Sales end at 4pm, Nov 5th)

Door Fee: $15

Light refreshments will be served
